USMC support contract contenders build up

Jacobs Engineering has become the latest in a swathe of companies contracted to provide logistics support to the US Marine Corp Logistics Command (LOGCOM).

The company announced on 16 July that it had been selected to compete for task orders under a five-year indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for up to $855 million under the Marine Corp Logistics Support Services (MCLOGSS) contract.

The MCLOGSS contract includes an initial base year contract worth up to $170million with four one-year options.

Companies selected for MCLOGSS will be awarded individual task orders for selected work out to May 2018.
