Balpro Protector modular shield system expanded
Kenno Tech has expanded its Balpro Protector modular ballistic shield system to include a watch tower. This latest expansion of the modular steel element barrier wall system will bring enhanced protection levels for troops conducting surveillance duties.
The Balpro Protector wall system is a reusable steel element barrier that allows fast fortification for expeditionary forces and protects against common threats such as 155 mm artillery shells. The multi-use, multi-purpose, modular system sets are transported as a 20 ft sea container equivalent.
The new watch tower consists of standard Balpro Protector wall elements and a new watch tower kit, which includes the necessary ladders, platforms and window frames with bulletproof glass panes.
The watch tower is erected via 3- or 6-metre elements placed vertically. With the windows and roof element this results in a roughly 4-metre and 7-metre high watch tower respectively.
According to the company, the watch tower can be built in approximately four hours.
