Engility awarded SeaPort-e task order

Engility will provide software engineering and production support to the US Navy's tactical afloat and submarine local area networks under a five-year, $90 million task order announced on 1 May.

The Tactical Network (TACNET) is a family of systems fielded on US Navy ships, submarines and shore sites. Engility will provide technical and production support to a number of navy integrated product teams on fleet afloat TACNETs. These efforts support of a number of programmes of record, including the Automated Digital Network System, Submarine Local Area Network, Integrated Shipboard Network Systems and Consolidated Afloat Network Enterprise Systems.
