GA-ASI confirms selection to support US Navy’s CCA programme

The company is working on conceptual designs for the US Navy’s CCA programme alongside Anduril, Northrop Grumman and Boeing.
A significant effort is now being made to focus on showcasing prototypes directly to demonstrate various capabilities to the US government.
The letter of intent, signed on 22 October, is the first move in a “long road” towards Sweden strengthening the Ukrainian Air Force with up to 150 Gripen aircraft.
The Gray Eagle STOL will be made available to several international militaries, with initial customer delivery planned for 2028.
Boeing will work with prime contractor Lockheed Martin to boost PAC-3 production capacity to hit higher delivery targets, as demand for the interceptors continues to surge.
