Textron subsidiary Airborne Tactical Advantage Company (ATAC) has been awarded a $34.5 million modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price, cost-reimbursable, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide contracted air services for the USN.
The Contracted Air Services Program (CASP) covers a range of 'red air' or adversary activities for the USN and USMC. This latest iteration extends the company’s ‘period of performance’ for contractor-owned and operated Type III high subsonic and Type IV supersonic aircraft to November 2020.
Missions will be flown covering both east and west coast fleets as well as some missions outside the continental US.
