ITEC 2014: Barco’s F50 projector to be ready this year
Barco is displaying its new F50 ruggedised projector at the ITEC 2014 exhibition in Cologne in preparation for making it available to customers later this year.
Production of the system will begin in July and the company will be ready to ship the first system in Q3 of 2014, a spokesperson from Barco told Shephard.
Launched last year, the F50 brings increased brightness and WQXGA (2,560 x 1,600) and Panorama (2,560 x 1,080) resolution with high frame rates (120Hz) and is optimised for motion platform systems including compact domes and cockpit simulators.
