Boeing awarded mission training centre work
Boeing will carry out upgrade work at the US Air Force’s F-15C and F-15E Mission Training Centers (MTS) under a $22.6 million contract modification announced on 24 September.
The company will implement the Suite 9.1 Eagle Passive Active Warning Survivability System (EPAWSS) into F-15C and F-15E MTCs, including updating F-15 MTCs with Suite 9.1 and adding EPAWSS capabilities to the F-15E MTC simulators.
The EPAWSS provides the air force with advanced electronic warfare technology to maximise mission effectiveness and survivability.
Work will be complete September 2021.
