STC radio moves past review
The Harris RF-335M radio completed its Critical Design Review in October and will be modified further with new capabilities before its introduction into service.
RF-335M was selected by US Special Operations Command (SOCOM) for its Special Operations Forces Tactical Communications (STC) handheld radio in 2015 and is due to be delivered in September 2017.
Joe Adams, SOCOM business director at Harris CS, told Shephard that with the completion of CDR ‘we will round out the finishing touches on the design and start the early stages of the production process to get us to a position where we can deliver the
