World Defense Show 2026: Northrop Grumman to present improved C2 management system
The Northrop Grumman Integrated Battle Command System is in service with Poland and the US Army with another 20 countries believed to have expressed an interest.
RADA Electronic Industries has received $3.5 million in radar orders from a US military customer, the company announced on 3 September.
The orders comprise recurring follow-on orders for the company’s Multi-mission Hemispheric Radar (MHR)-based counter-UAS surveillance solution as well as the first order for its advanced Enhanced Compact Hemispheric Radar (eCHR).
RADA’s MHR provides 360° surveillance to detect UAS at distances of 3-5km. Its signal intelligence system along with electro-optical sensors provide additional layers of threat classification and identification, while RF jamming provides the soft-kill layer.
The eCHR is evolved from RADA’s Compact Hemispheric Radar, currently in use for active protection systems and hostile fire detection solutions for combat vehicles. The eCHR offers enhanced detection and tracking ranges, advanced beam forming and additional technological enhancements, providing significant performance improvements under highly demanding battlefield environments.
Deliveries of these orders will take place during 2018.
