L-3 STRATIS awarded Special Operations contract
L-3 Communications announced today that its STRATIS division has been awarded a one year $84.9 million firm-fixed price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (ID/IQ) contract under the US Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) Distributed Computing Management Services (DCMS) program.
This contract is the largest portion of the Enterprise Information Technology Contract (EITC) recompetition and has a four-year period of performance with a maximum value of $400 million, if all option periods are exercised and incentive fees are earned.
Under this initiative, L-3 STRATIS will support USSOCOM and the DCMS program by sustaining and maintaining its distributed global enterprise information technology computing environment. Work will be performed at MacDill Air Force Base, Fla., and at multiple US and overseas locations.
"The hard work and dedication of every individual on STRATIS' USSOCOM mission support team made the difference in our selection as the SITEC DCMS lead," said Les Rose, president of L-3 STRATIS. "We look forward to our continuing relationship with USSOCOM and engaging the entire SITEC team to make this program a tremendous success."
