European launch for Kelvin Hughes Single Mast Solution
Kelvin Hughes unveiled its Single Mast Solution (SMS) to the European market at CounterTerror Expo in London this week.
According to Jonathan Field, Director Security Sensors and Systems at Kelvin Hughes, ‘border security is a major issue internationally and the SMS is a simple solution for border surveillance’.
‘Previously, you would need specialist skills to operate a radar system [but] with the SMS we have created a one-stop shop that integrates radar and optics which anybody can use.
‘We are able to give the SMS system to people who have never used radar before,’ he continued.
