CMTL to continue providing satellite services to USMC
Comtech Telecommunications has received a $14.5 million contract modification to continue to support the US Marine Corps’ (USMC's) tactical satellite communications network, the company announced on 5 July.
The modification, which exercises the fourth-year option under an existing contract, will see Comtech continue to provide the tactical satellite communications network with Ku bandwidth and support services.
Fred Kornberg, president and CEO, said: ‘Comtech is committed to providing its customers with cost effective, reliable and secure communications solutions that enable them to successfully complete their missions.’
Comtech is providing the USMC with commercial satellite services to various terminals to extend the marine corps enterprise network for deployed users. The work will now run through to July 2018.
