Recent developments in the war in Ukraine have highlighted the relevance of advanced missile defence capabilities for tomorrow’s warfare. In order to equip its troops with the right equipment to succeed, the US has been learning and applying lessons from this conflict.
Congressmen and high-ranking Pentagon officials have been pointing out the measures to be taken to enhance the country’s missile defence.
This includes upgrading systems and accelerating both acquisition of new sensors and technologies and their integration with the DoD’s equipment in addition to improving the procurement process.
