Aselsan details railgun development (video)
At the recent IDEF exhibition in Istanbul, Turkey, electronics specialists Aselsan showcased its railgun conceptpublicly for the first time.
Currently an R&D project, the company has already conducted live-fire trials with a small lab-based launcher system. Shephard spoke to Umut Tureli, an engineer on the project, about the development and potential future applications.
