The Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) inaugurated a new Littoral Mission Vessel (LMV) simulation centre on 26 September at the same time as commissioning its fourth and fifth LMVs, RSS Justice and RSS Indomitable.

Named the RSS Daring-LMV Simulation Centre (SIMCEN), it was jointly developed by the RSN and Defence Science and Technology Agency.

The facility is 80m long and 30m wide, and houses two replicas of the LMV Integrated Command Centre (ICC) in two 30m x 30m halls. Fifteen high-definition projectors show simulated scenarios on a 360° screen that spans 25m in diameter and 4.1m high.
