Zhuhai 2016: China demonstrates better C4 capabilities
Two new C4 systems were introduced at the 11th Zhuhai Air Show from 1-6 November in southern China. The systems, both developed by the China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation (CASIC), are the MC4 ‘Magic Cube’ Army Tactical Mobile Command Communication System and the LD-JHC 300 surface wave over-the-horizon (OTH) radar.
The MC4 provides a command communication service with the ability to coordinate and control tactical missile/rocket mobile systems for land warfare operations. The system allows the army to plan an overall operation and command a tactical action independently with ‘complete and advanced functions’.
