UK MoD wish list for future counter-drone systems revealed

The UK MoD is reaching out to industry as it seeks to address key capability gaps in its fight against sUAS deployed by adversaries in overseas theatre.

Shephard understand that to-date seven different concepts of use for C-sUAS have been outlined by the MoD. 

These will assist the military as it continues to deal with threats from small, slow and low drones which are causing a ‘real issue’ to UK troops overseas in a variety of situations, Peter Clarke, Director of the MoD’s Counter-UAS (C-UAS) Capability Development Centre, told Shephard during the International Security Expo on 28 November.
