How digital systems are transforming the battlefield (video)
At Eurosatory 2026, Rheinmetall showcased the growing role of digitalisation in modern warfare and highlighted the technologies the company provides to modern operations.
Among the key capabilities presented were reconnaissance satellites for space-based intelligence, the new Missile Container for deploying loitering munitions and remote weapon stations designed to support connected battlefield operations.
Haas also outlined Rheinmetall’s approach to integrating digital capabilities across multiple domains, emphasising the importance of technology partnerships in building a connected defence ecosystem.
A central theme of the discussion was the need to deliver proven, operational capabilities rather than concepts, with Rheinmetall focusing on bringing together existing technologies to meet the evolving demands of modern warfare.
