SOFIC: Industry responds to USSOCOM C4ISR wish-list
USSOCOM’s latest stated ambitions regarding future C4ISR technology has been well received by industry, although concessions will have to be made as equipment is fielded, senior figures have suggested.
A Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) published on 28 April outlined the research and development requirements for USSOCOM Science and Technology (S&T) efforts in FY15 and beyond. It was also the first such BAA to be made publicly available, USSOCOM sources confirmed.
