Raytheon to ‘transform’ UK GEOINT

Raytheon UK has been awarded a £70 million contract from the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) to deliver the first phase of the Allied Systems for Geospatial-intelligence (ASG) programme.

ASG will transform the UK Joint Forces Intelligence Group’s (JFIG) operational business by delivering a modernised Geospatial-Intelligence (GEOINT) enterprise for the MoD, according to information released by Raytheon UK at the Defence Geospatial Intelligence conference in London on 20 January.

‘We look forward to extending our long-term partnership with the GEOINT community within the MoD,’ Richard Daniel, Raytheon UK chief executive, said in a statement.
