NZDF fields networked elements during Southern Katipo
The New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) used the large-scale Exercise Southern Katipo in October-November to field elements of its Network Enabled Army (NEA) programme, ahead of a scheduled milestone to introduce a common digital command post in 2018.
One example of the growing capability being achieved via the NEA programme is the Common Command Post Operating Environment (CCPOE), a deployable command post housed in Base-X tents manufactured by HDT Global.
