CTX 2015: Ricoh unveils new surveillance system
Ricoh is displaying a new long range surveillance unit for the first time at Counter Terror Expo in London.
Graeme Thursfield, business development manager at Ricoh, explained that this was the first functional model the company has displayed that has been brought over from the Japanese side of the business.
‘We are looking to target military and law enforcement markets, including the navy for maritime surveillance,’ Thursfield added.
While the company could not reveal any customers, Thursfield mentioned that one potential customer was looking to mount the device on a vehicle.
