CTX 2015: Multi-headed IED detector launched

Chemring Technology Solutions has launched the GroundHunter Multi-head Detection System (MHDS) at Counter Terror Expo in London.

Highlighting that IEDs are still a major threat to militaries and security services alike, the new hand-held IED detector is capable of detecting both wire and metal using its interchangeable detector heads, according to Ben Anstee, Regional Business Manager at Chemring.

The system has a compact folding design and allows multiple sensor heads to be carried by a single operator for rapid reconfiguration.
