World Defense Show 2026: Northrop Grumman to present improved C2 management system
The Northrop Grumman Integrated Battle Command System is in service with Poland and the US Army with another 20 countries believed to have expressed an interest.
The US Army has revealed plans for the first 'large scale' deployment of AMF (Airborne and Maritime Fixed Station) Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS), scheduled for the early part of 2011.
According to AMF JTRS Program Manager, Col Ray Jones, the 'Joint Fires Live Fly Scenario' exercise has been specifically designed to push the programme to its limits and will be the first deployment of the system in an 'operational environment'.
Due to take place at White Sands Missile Range in March, the exercise will include the use of five all-up AMF JTRSs and will include assets such as AH64
