MSPO 2016: Helicopter opportunities abound

As the defence industry roadshow rolls into glitzy Kielce, Poland for the 24th outing of the MSPO exhibition, Western companies will be closely eyeing several major helicopter requirements.

Rumblings to the east in recent years, with Russia’s annexation of Crimea and Moscow’s new cold war with Ukraine, have seen many long-delayed military procurement programmes across Eastern Europe gain a fresh sense of urgency.
