Polish communications specialists WB Electronics showcased some of its latest military technologies at this year's MSPO exhibition held in Kielce, Poland.

One of those products is Fonet, a 'digital backbone' solution that integrates the electronic equipment on a military vehicle, including the communications gear, battle management systems and sensors. Fonet is currently operational on the Polish Army's Rosomak 8x8 vehicles.

Another product displayed is the Perad personal radio, a software-defined radio that has been chosen as part of the Polish Army's modernisation programmes, called Tytan. Shephard spoke to WB Electronics to find out more about these technologies.
