Tony is editor-in-chief for all Shephard editorial content as well as being the editor of Special Operations Forum magazine. Tony took over the Shephard rotorcraft portfolio in 2009, after five years with Jane’s Defence Weekly, where he was latterly the magazine’s features editor. 

Before moving to the UK, Tony was a reporter for a regional New Zealand newspaper, where he had the cat up tree beat.
