US Army evaluates aviation training bids

The US Army Aviation Center of Excellence (USAACE) is currently assessing responses for its Advanced Helicopter Flight Training Support (AHFTS) requirement. The contract is currently provided by L3 DOSS Aviation.

The AHFTS programme requires the contractor to supply flight training instruction and support for three requirements: flight training support for the USAACE’s advanced rotary-wing course; to provide ‘balanced training’ to prepare pilots in ‘Go to War’ aircraft; and finally, support Euro-NATO and other foreign military training that is conducted at USAACE.
