Australia completes MH-60R CMT tests

The Royal Australian Navy (RAN) has completed the factory acceptance tests (FAT) on its MH-60R Composite Maintenance Trainer (CMT) at CAE USA’s Tampa factory in Florida. 

The FAT process clears the way for the shipping of the CMT, which is expected to take place in the next few weeks.

The CMT (pictured) is to be located at HMAS Albatross near Nowra in New South Wales and will be joined by a Rear Crew Trainer (RCT) that was developed for CAE by Australian company Virtual Simulation Systems.
