DSET 2018: British Army plans future collective training
The British Army is in the process of re-aligning its collective training process to address training gaps and the entry into service of new equipment.
The project is being driven by the Capability (Training) organisation based at HQ Army in Andover and is looking at how the army will train in 2021 and beyond.
This is the first time that the British Army has directly linked training with operational capability and according to Brig Bobby Walton-Knight, ‘this is an important and long overdue step.’
