Cubic to support USAREUR
Cubic Global Defense has been awarded a five-year contract to continue supporting the US Army Europe’s (USAREUR) simulation and readiness centres in Germany, it announced on 10 February.
Under the $33.7 million contract, Cubic will support the USAREUR Joint Multinational Simulation Center (JMSC) in Grafenwoehr and the USAREUR Joint Multinational Readiness Center (JMRC) in Hohenfels.
Cubic will continue to help JMSC with the execution of mission rehearsal exercises and training events; combatant commanders’ engagement strategies; and constructive simulation training for joint, combined, NATO and partner-nation units and leaders.
The company will integrate JMSC’s LVC-G simulations and mission command systems along with providing stable simulation network backbones, exercise infrastructure and configuration management in support of JMSC missions.
Bill Toti, president, Cubic Global Defense, said: ‘Cubic is a key player in the LVC-G training space and has successfully partnered with the JMSC to provide realistic and customisable mission support services to not only the US, but also to partner nations.’
According to the contract, Cubic will also support sites in Vicenza, Italy; and Baumholder and Kaiserslautern in Germany.
