Cubic divests its training support services arm
Despite the growth in training service provisions around the world, Cubic Corporation is to sell its Cubic Global Defense (CGD) Services business to Valiant Integrated Services.
The deal is worth $135 million cash plus $3 million of contingent consideration tied to certain contract wins expected over the next 12 to 24 months.
The company’s services business typically provided exercise planning, role players and exercise support. The latest contract was awarded in February by US European Command to support the Joint Training and Exercise Division.
