360iSR launches Spanish ISR training
360ISR has launched a new joint intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) training programme for the Spanish armed forces, under a contract announced by the company on 9 August.
The programme focuses on ISR support for NATO and national missions, including training for Mediterranean migration monitoring and UAS pilot and sensor operators in ISR networking.
360ISR plans to roll out NATO-focused joint ISR training throughout Scandinavia and the Baltics for smaller militaries and those that are early adopters of integrated ISR training.
The consultancy’s goal is to partner with nations that have identified a need to develop tactics in the context of NATO’s joint ISR initiatives, either to bolster their partnership in allied operations, or to incorporate some of the doctrine into a national-level ISR capability.
Gareth Tennent, head of ISR Division, 360ISR, said: ‘NATO as an organisation has developed a very good doctrine for joint ISR. Many nations are interested in a better understanding of joint ISR both to support operations and to take as a national standard.’More from Training
