Sweden to order 100 more BvS10s
Sweden has announced its intention to exercise options for the procurement of an additional 100 BvS10 armoured all-terrain vehicles.
Writing in Swedish newspaper Örnsköldsviks Allehanda, defence minister Karin Enström said that the vehicles – known as BvS 410 Snowcat locally – will be acquired in different variants including troop carrier, command vehicle, ambulance and logistic carrier from BAE Systems Hagglünds production facility in Örnsköldsvik and distributed to various units. When placed, the value of the order is expected to be in the region of £100 million.
