AUSA 2017: JLTV upgunned and uparmoured
As the first US Army units prepare to take delivery of the new Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV), manufacturer Oshkosh and Israeli company Rafael have teamed to show a new configuration for the platform that includes an active protection system (APS).
Rafael revealed on 28 September that it had fitted the JLTV with the light vehicle (LV) version of its now famous Trophy APS as well as the modified variant of its Samson Dual RWS that integrates the M230LF 30mm chain gun from armaments manufacturer Orbital ATK as well as a 7.62mm machine gun.
