BAE pushes CV90 for Aussie Land 400 IFV
As the initiation of Australia’s Land 400 Phase 2 project gathers pace, BAE Systems has said it will market its CV90 tracked armoured vehicle for the Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV) stage of the programme.
A spokesperson from BAE told Shephard that although the Australian Defence Force (ADF) ‘made it clear that it is seeking a wheeled 8x8’ for its Combat Reconnaissance Vehicle (CRV) requirement, ‘the BAE Systems Hägglunds CV90 platform is a strong candidate for the IFV phase of Land 400.’
