West: Lockheed demos new C4ISR Test Bed
The US Navy has recently been shown a demonstration of a new maritime C4ISR test bed to help accelerate the fielding of new capabilities.
Speaking to Shephard at AFCEA West 2015, Dave Weddel, director of strategic planning at Lockheed Martin’s Information Systems & Global Solutions said that their latest test bed demonstration was briefed last week to RAdm Christian Becker from PEO C4I, as well the Pentagon in OPNAV N2/N6.
The test bed uses data fusion, workflow automation and electromagnetic visualization tools, as well as simulated radar, communications and signal intelligence, to depict emerging tactical situation in both at sea
