Vislink to launch larger Mantis MSAT satellie terminal
Vislink has announced that a 90cm variant of its new Mantis MSAT satellite data terminal is expected to be production-ready by the end of the year.
Lance Hiley, chief marketing officer for the company, told Shephard on 7 November that the terminal was designed to be as simple to deploy as possible, and was launched in early October to a military market.
‘With the MSAT, from mobile to fixed, there is virtually no latency, lag or delay,’ Hiley explained. ‘The essence of this product is all about speed, providing a broadband connection anywhere in the world within minutes.
