SCTX 2018: Chemring launches radio initiator system, LORIS
Chemring Technology Solutions has launched a new Long-range Radio Initiator System (LORIS) at the Security and Counter Terror Expo (SCTX) in London.
LORIS, a high energy radio initiator system supports a range of military and special forces missions including EOD, IEED and demolitions.
Speaking to Shephard, Rob Hall, head of product strategy and marketing at Chemring, claimed the new system provides a higher energy output than any existing product and offers the unique ability to configure multiple Remote Initiation Devices (RIDs) for specific mission requirements.
