Kratos to support SSC Pacific Code 551
Kratos Defense & Security Solutions’ Defense & Rocket Support Services (DRSS) Division is part of the Trabus Technologies team that has received a $7.42 million contract to support Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SSC) Pacific Code 551, the company announced on 28 March.
As per the contract, the team will provide technical, engineering and programmatic services for airborne communication and networking systems, and associated certification and information assurance for planned upgrades, current operations and new developments.
The contract has two one-year options, which will increase the contract value to $12.59 million. It will run through to March 2019.
Timothy Harmon, vice president, military services business unit, Kratos, said: ‘Kratos has a highly knowledgeable staff with extensive experience supporting engineering, design and analysis of satellite communications (SATCOM) systems. Kratos has a proven track record of providing advanced SATCOM solutions to the US Navy.’
