Data Link Solutions awarded contract modification
Data Link Solutions has been awarded a contract modification by the US Naval Information Warfare Systems Command for the Block Upgrade II retrofit of Multifunctional Information Distribution System (MIDS) low volume terminals (LVTs).
The MIDS LVT provides the critical airborne, ground and maritime link that allows for simultaneous coordination of forces and situational awareness in battlefield operations. The terminals provide secure, high-capacity, jam-resistant, digital data and voice communications capability for US Navy, Air Force and Army platforms.
Work on the contract is expected to be completed by December 2026.
