BAE Systems Detica outlines cyber credentials

The director of cyber security services at BAE Systems Detica has emphasised the importance of protecting networked systems, noting a particular growth in the area in the last 12 months. 

Following the acquisition by BAE Systems some four years ago, Detica has increased its global footprint, despite holding the UK as its core market, Tom Burton explained to a media briefing in London.

‘We’re concentrating very much on cybersecurity where we’ve seen a lot of growth even in the last 12 months alone,’ he continued. ‘It’s very easy in the cyber world to appear dooming and apocalyptic. We are sweating
