World Defense Show 2026: Northrop Grumman to present improved C2 management system
The Northrop Grumman Integrated Battle Command System is in service with Poland and the US Army with another 20 countries believed to have expressed an interest.
Saab has work lined up in Australia concerning radars and combat management systems (CMS), with one recent major achievement being reception of an order to update the Australian Army’s Wireless Audio Visual Emergency System (WAVES) equipment for its counter-rocket, artillery and mortar (C-RAM) system.
The company received the order in late December 2018 from the Capability Acquisition Sustainment Group on behalf of the Australian Army.
The WAVES equipment provides early-warning audible and visual alerts when the C-RAM sensors detect and identify an incoming threat – such as rockets, artillery or mortar fire – within an exclusion zone.
