AFCEA West 2011: Battery charging initiatives in the spotlight
Among the myriad energy and logistical initiatives within the tactical arena are the mandates of battery management and the recharging of multiple battery types on an everyday basis. Two companies using this week’s AFCEA West 2011 venue to spotlight their recent efforts in this area are Thales Communications and Global Technology Systems (GTS), the world-wide exclusive manufacturer of Honeywell battery packs, battery chargers, battery cells and power management systems.
Thales, for example, highlighted their new Universal Battery Charger as one of the new supporting accessories for its AN/PRC-148 JTRS Enhanced MBITR (JEM).
