Opinion: UK military to get Carter
The British Ministry of Defence (MoD) is beloved of acronyms and abbreviations and in recent weeks a new one reportedly entered common use - ABC (Anyone But Carter) - reflecting the view of many serving personnel over the battle to become the next Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS).
