Paris Air Show 2025: New capabilities, partnerships and next-gen programmes remain priority for industry

As European countries increase their defence budgets, the Paris Air Show will look to how the aerospace industry’s responds, with programme progression, new technology and industrial partnerships all expected to take centre stage at Le Bourget.

The 55th Paris Air Show is set to open on Monday next week amid a tense geopolitical landscape which has changed even more dramatically since the last time the event opened its doors in 2023.

The pressure of a growingly disengaged US and the spectre of Russian conflict as the war in Ukraine rumbles on into its fourth year has spurred European countries to not only spend big but revisit and revise its equipment procurement plans.

Considering the fraught backdrop, it remains to be seen how the defence industry will respond at Le Bourget in 2025.
