Cubic tailors mortar simulator for the US Army

Collins Aerospace has been awarded a $30.95 million firm-fixed-price FMS contract for production of a Transportable Blackhawk Operations Simulator (T-BOS) training device for the Saudi Arabia National Guard.
T-BOS is a high-fidelity, containerised flight simulator that uses actual aircraft derived Operational Flight Programme (OFP) software and is capable of being deployed to forward operating bases. The system is air, land and sea transportable and can be ready for training within eight hours of arrival due to its own integral power supply and environmental control unit.
The T-BOS is equipped with UH-60M avionics including the company’s own cockpit displays.
