UK seeks industry input on army collective training
The UK MoD is seeking industry interest in providing an Interim Combined Arms Virtual Trainer (Deployable) device (ICAVS(D)) and training service to conduct collective training.
According to the Training & Simulation System Programmes (TSSP) team within MoD Defence Equipment & Support: ‘ICAVS(D) will be used to provide teams and junior commanders with a simple, effective computer-based training environment that enables them to carry out tactics, techniques and procedures (TTP) and command and control (C2), patrolling, counter-IED, ISTAR management and exploitation and mission planning training in a realistic virtual environment.’
