Germany deals contract to Top Aces
Canadian provider Top Aces has won the German Armed Forces adversary air training services follow-on contract commencing on 1 January 2022.
Operating from Wittmundhafen airbase in northern Germany, Top Aces has been providing adversary air training for the past six years using a fleet of Alpha Jets and A-4 Skyhawks.
According to Top Aces, the company will invest more than $80 million in the new contract that will include the company’s proprietary Advanced Aggressor Mission System (AAMS).
The AAMS solution allows the use of AESA radar and Infrared Search-and-Track (IRST) systems on various aircraft types, including the A-4N Skyhawk
