PLAN to hold exercises in Bohai Bay
The PLAN will hold naval exercises between 14 May and 31 July, according to the website of the Maritime Safety Administration of the People’s Republic of China.
The exercises will take place in the Jingtang Harbour district near Tangshan Port, Hebei Province.
The administration has instructed that all non-participating vessels should evacuate the area and will be forbidden from entering a 25km-radius zone where the exercises will take place.
The Chinese Ministry of National Defence did not confirm which vessels will be involved with the training exercises.
